	Cruz Named To U.S. Under-20 Team Rising sophomore Daniel Cruz, a forward on the UNLV men's soccer team, has been named to the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team 16-player roster that will compete against the Mexico U-20 squad on July 11, it was announced by U.S. head coach Thomas Rongen last week. 	Mika Mota Receives Johann Scholarship Mika Mota, who will be a freshman on the UNLV men's soccer team beginning this fall, has been named as this year's recipient of the Peter Johann Memorial Scholarship, which benefits a Las Vegas native on the team. [ + ]

Three Rebels Named MWC Scholar-Athletes
UNLV placed three members of the men's soccer team on the 2008 MWC Scholar-Athlete team. To be eligible for selection as a MWC Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition for their athletic team. Trafford Signs With Vancouver
Mason Trafford, who was a starting defender on the UNLV men's soccer team this past season, has signed a one-year contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC of the United Soccer League. [ + ]

Ryerson Returns To The Rebels
Rich Ryerson, who owns two long-standing career records at UNLV, will make a return to his alma mater this summer, as he has been named assistant men's soccer coach, head coach Mario Sanchez announced on Friday. Ryerson replaces Michael Hamilton, who left this spring to pursue other opportunities. [ + ]

Rebels Release 2008 Schedule
The UNLV men's soccer team, under third-year head coach Mario Sanchez, will participate in a total of four tournaments and play a total of 10 games on the road as the Rebels' 19-game schedule for the 2008 season was announced on Monday. [ + ]

Rebels Announce 2008 Signing Class
Five players have signed national letters of intent to play men's soccer for UNLV starting in the fall of 2008, while the Rebels will also add two mid-semester transfers, UNLV head coach Mario Sanchez announced on Tuesday. [ + ]

Rebels Announce Summer Camp Dates
The UNLV Men's soccer program is excited to announce their 2008 summer camps. A total of five camps will be held this summer at Peter Johann Memorial Field and other location in Las Vegas. Two new additions to the great line up of camps this summer are the High School Elite Boys Residential Camp, July 10-13 and a Full Day Youth Soccer Camp, July 21-25. [ + ]
